Youth Vote Organizer 🗣️
Position Summary
It is more important than ever that helpful information on how to vote and voter registration are brought to Oregon classrooms and presented in a relatable way. This is where we need you! Youth Vote Interns will be instrumental in helping reach thousands of students.
Youth Vote Organizers will lead a 3 week-long voter registration effort at their own school! This will look like coordinating with teachers to give at least six classroom presentations, registering young people to vote, check-ins with Next Up staff, and participating in remote training. You'll learn voter registration, public speaking, and project coordination, all while making an impact.
The program runs twice a year in the Fall and Spring.
