Youth Action Team ⚡️
Applications are now closed for the 2024 - 2025 cohort
Our action team is all about youth-led social change. In this cohort, you’ll meet with a collective of teens monthly to develop grassroots organizing skills and collaborate on policy solutions to address youth issues.
Youth Action Team is a year-long cohort that equips 14 - 18 year olds with the skills and knowledge to drive change in their communities. Young people will walk away with grassroots organizing skills, leadership opportunities, and an understanding of the political ecosystem in Oregon. Members will engage in voter registration drives, get-out-the-vote efforts, policy solutions to address youth issues, and build community with other young people. We center Black, Indigenous, and youth of color because we can only authentically address the most pressing issues when engaging those that are most impacted by the problem.
