Work at Next Up

We're Hiring a Development Associate

Next Up is seeking a committed, resourceful, part-time, Development Associate. This position reports directly to and works closely with the Executive Director, helping the team to leverage new opportunities, cultivate critical partnerships, and maintain high standards in data, communications, and relationships.

We’re looking for someone who believes in the power of young people to create change and is passionate about building power for our movements by making money moves. You are a money organizer-- you ensure nothing is falling through the cracks in order to raise as much money as possible to ensure programs and staff are supported. Our ideal candidate takes initiative, is highly organized, builds relationships easily, and has experience with customer service, administration, and data.

You (yes, you!) should apply if you’re excited by this challenge and are ready to work hard. This position offers tremendous opportunities for leadership, innovation, and professional development on a very supportive team that takes the work seriously, but not ourselves. Next Up is an equal opportunity employer. Black, Indigenous, and people of color, people with disabilities, and people of diverse sexual orientations, gender expressions and identities are encouraged to apply.
