Fellows are temporary part-time positions that will be tasked with extensive community outreach, education, and training with direct staff support to develop and strengthen their community organizing skills. As a Base Building Fellow, you’ll gain crucial experience in the political and nonprofit fields and receive training from Next Up staff. Fellows must be able to commit to 20 hours a week, primarily weeknights and weekends, with some weekday shifts. As a board member, you can gain leadership experience and contribute your time and energy to building up generations of public sector leaders and progressive policy wins.
